According to the Wisconsin athletic offense, the Siena Saints men's basketball team was paid $150,000 to play in the 2K Classic, News 10 Sports Josh Rultenberg has learned.

Siena lost to Duke, 92-74, and then lost to Wisconsin, 92-65. But those losses are well worth the financial gain as that money can go to help the program in any number of ways.

I'm sure $150K spends faster than we think it does, but whether its for travel expenses, uniforms, equipment or anything else -- it's a huge payday and it's a good fundraiser at the very least.
