Sale Sets Bad Tone for Red Sox in ALDS

As good as Chris Sale has been for Boston this season, his downfall was giving up the home run ball. He gave up 4 in his last regular season outing, and it carried over into the playoffs. Awful performance by Sale in game one against Houston giving up 7 runs in 5 innings including 3 home runs. If the series goes the distance, Sale will get another chance, and the results have to be better. Boston’s not beating Houston without another start and win from Sale.
