Who Will Win The 2024 Jim Dandy Stakes?

The weather has been so beautiful lately and it looks awesome again this weekend for another weekend at the Spa at Saratoga Racecourse. The Jim Dandy Stakes is set to run on Saturday evening and it is always a big attraction here. It is a six horse field and I love Chad Brown's Sierra Leone. Chad just owns Saratoga and always wins the big races. I wouldn't count out however Seize the Grey and Fierceness. Everything always eventually shifts toward the Travers of course at the end of August. I love Thorpedo Anna one of my favorite horses this summer for sure. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Thorpedo Anna looks like she could beat boys in the Travers Stakes if that's what trainer Ken McPeak decides to do with his three-year-old filly. The other option is running her in the Alabama, but we already know she is the best filly in the country but maybe she is also the horse of the year too so let's find out. McPeak likes the limelight, and it sounds like he feels Thorpedo Anna belongs in the Mid-Summer Derby which would only add to what should be star studded field on August 24th.

The attendance already this year is way better than last year so is the overall betting and handle. Yet again Saratoga continues to amaze me with even more fans than last year. The weather has been a big factor too and the races have all been awesome.
