The wide receiver position is going to play a major role in Super Bowl 50. With both defenses performing very well, the ability for receivers to get open becomes even more important.

This one is rather easy. The Denver Broncos have the clear advantage when it comes to wide receivers. Their depth alone is one of the best at the position in the NFL. Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Jordan Norwood, Cody Latimer, and Andre Caldwell give the Broncos everything they need on the outside. They have height in Thomas, elusiveness in Sanders, and speed in both Norwood and Latimer. That is everything QB Peyton Manning needs to get the ball out of his hand quickly and accurately and let his playmakers make plays.

Carolina really doesn't have much when it comes to wide receivers with only three viable options in rookie Devin Funchess, Ted Ginn Jr., and Corey Brown, but they are not nearly as dangerous as the Broncos weapons. That's why we're giving the Broncos the edge when it comes to wide receivers.
