The first game between the Ottawa Senators and the New York Rangers looked easy for the the blueshirts, but Ottawa proved that they will not be easily taken out in the first round.

Matt Carkner made it pretty clear to the New York Rangers last night.  The Senators are not going to be easily pushed around.  His fight with Rangers forward Brian Boyle signified just that.  In OT it was Chris Neil that would throw the most painful punch.  He scored the winning goal to put the Sen's up 3-2, and give them a game two victory.

The series is now tied at 1-1, with game three going to Ottawa.  That will be Monday night, and no doubt the Senators will be carrying some of this game two momentum with them back home.
