SGF Star is Athlete of the Week

Another week, more instances of athletes heating up on the fields play as we are now fully enthralled in sectionals for baseball, lacrosse, and softball.

For the second week in a row, we get our "Athlete of the Week" selection from the softball diamond. While last week's selection was Caraline Wood of Averill Park, today we head to South Glens Falls to select junior standout Brooke Snyder.

Snyder had grand slam in the Foothills Championship game and then had a two-run shot run against Hudson Falls to secure the North Division Title. She is batting .410 and has four home runs, five doubles, and two triples while helping SGF to its 15th straight league title and a No. 3 seed in the Class A sectionals.
