We are still three months from the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft but that doesn't mean it's too early to start thinking about mock drafts...

Most notably, where will Shenendehowa star pitcher Ian Anderson go? He's committed to Vanderbilt but will he ever make it to the Commodores?

Well, Hudson Belinksy of Baseball America has him going at No. 10 overall to the Chicago White Sox.

From his mock draft:

Chicago hasn’t taken a prep pitcher with its first pick since 2001, when it took righthander Kris Honel, so this would be a bit of a shift for the White Sox. Anderson has been off to a strong start, however, and some industry sources believe he could push himself even higher than this spot. He’d be the best available prospect for the White Sox here.

Anderson throws anywhere between 90-94 miles per hour although I've heard rumors of him hitting as high as 96-97 this offseason.

He's certainly the name to watch this season in the Capital Region.
