Siena to Visit Kansas Next Season

It's been exactly one week since the College Basketball season ended with a brilliant Villanova-North Carolina championship game, but that doesn't mean it's too early to start thinking about next season already.

Locally, fans in the Capital Region have a lot to be excited for as well with the potential surrounding both Siena and UAlbany.

Siena has done a great job in the last few years of scheduling top flight out-of-conference games, and Jimmy Patsos continues to ramp it up.

The Saints will make a trip to Allen Fieldhouse? That's pretty awesome. It comes on the heels of a year that saw the Saints travel to both Duke and Wisconsin.

Siena finished third in the MAAC this season and lost in the conference semifinals to eventual champion Iona. Games like this can only continue to help the development of the program.

It will be interesting to see if Siena grabs any other major conference opponents.
