Here at 104.5 The Team, we are Your Home For New York Yankees Baseball, so we have to bestow our biggest congratulations to our colleagues, Yankees broadcasters John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman:

The duo will be inducted into the NYS Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame on June 10 at the Conrad Hotel in New York City.

The tandem has begun its 12th year together and have been calling Yankee games since 2005. Sterling has been broadcasting Yankee games since 1989 and has come to acclaim for his famous Yankee home run calls:

"Gardner....plants one! Gardyyyy, goes Yardyyyy."

"He Ells-buries it!"

"Mark.... sends a Tex-message. Woah, you're on the Mark.... Teixeira."

"It's an A-bomb, from A-Rod!"

Taken from the YES website:

Entering the Hall this year along with Sterling and Waldman are: Janice Huff, WNBC New York chief meteorologist; Liz Bishop, WRGB Albany reporter; Chris Jansing, NBC News senior White House correspondent; and Dan Palmer, longtime sports director at radio station WDOE in Dunkirk, N.Y.

So more congratulations are in store for our fiend Liz Bishop in the Capital Region!
