LeBron James and the Miami Heat are just win game away from a trip to the NBA Finals.  And there are a lot of people out there that want to see LeBron fail.

I'm here to tell you one thing.

Stop it.  Stop hating.  Stop hating LeBron.

If you were a fan of Jordan’s Chicago Bulls, you can’t hate the Miami Heat now.

Think back to why you became a Chicago Bulls fan in the first place - it was because of Michael Jordan. You were a fan of #23.  You then became a fan of that team.  His team.  'Da Bulls.

Everyone gravitates towards superstars of the time and LeBron is the superstar of today.

When you were 10-years old, you became a Bulls fan.  Just like 10-year olds right now are becoming Miami Heat fans.

The same feeling you have towards the Heat right now is the same feeling people had towards the Bulls in the 90’s.  If you didn't love the Bulls, you hated them.  There's nothing wrong with that.  Every sport needs a villian.

But why are the Miami Heat portrayed as a villian?  The LeBron's "Decision" really bother you?  Is that why you hate LeBron and the Heat?

Are you really mad left a bad job for a better one?  Oh yeah, LeBron also took less money.  You think he had a big ego for the way the decision was handled?  Wow!  An NBA player that makes $100 million a year has a big ego.  Shocker!

LeBron's 1-hour special still upsets you?  Were you offended by the way it was handled or did it make the NBA bigger than ever!  TV ratings went up, jersey sales went up, everyone seems to be talking about the NBA Playoffs right now.

Someone took less money to win?  I don't have a problem with that.

Are you a Yankee fan?  If you’re a Yanks fan, your club has been getting the best players for 2 decades.  But the difference is the Heat acquired all of their free agents with a salary cap.  The Heat have 3 great players and then a bunch of guys that look like Dancing with the Stars season #10 rejects.

The Miami Heat aren't the only team to stockpile players. No one got upset when the Lakers did it in the early 2000’s.  The Celtics pulled off a robbery to get Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.  The Knicks got Amar’e Stoudemire and then Carmelo Anthony and they’ll add a point guard in 2 years and perhaps a center soon after.

This is the way the NBA is going and this is the way the NBA has always been.

It's the NBA Theory of Sinkativity: you need a Hall of Famer at two All-Stars around him to win an NBA title.  The Heat just aren't afraid to admit it, that's all.
