Kevin Huerter is now currently a member of the Chicago Bulls as he was part of a three team trade that finally got him our of Sacramento.  Now rumors are swirling that he may be being used as trade bait and might get dealt to another team.  Wherever he ends up before the trade deadline on Thursday, I hope it is somewhere where he is going to start and play quality minutes.  In a perfect world it would be to a contender who is fihting for a playoff spot or already in one.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Kevin Huerter got his wish and is out of Sacramento, but let's hope his next NBA team the Chicago Bulls is the right fit. The right fit for Huerter means increased playing time with a chance to make three-point shots that's why he's making $16 million a year. Chicago is at Miami on Tuesday, and we should find out how the Bulls will utilize the Shen grads skill set.

Huerter has a relatively team friendly deal at around $16 million per year.  The best part about him is that he never forgets where he came from and is so humble.  They just hung up his jersey at Shen high school and he couldn't have been more appreciative and gracious for the well deserved honor.  I hope Kevin is happy wherever he ends up by the end of the week because he deserves it and as always the entire Capital Region is rooting for him.
