News broke yesterday that the NFL is considering expanding the playoffs to 16 teams. Eight teams from the AFC and 8 teams from the NFC. The long-awaited announcement of the University of Albany Great Danes Football schedule is here! The season will be short but sweet with the Great Danes playing six conference games with the hopes of earning the Colonial Athletic Association's bid into the FCS Playoffs. UAlbany football will begin on March 6th at New Hampshire and the regular season will conclude April 10th home against Villanova.

2020 has been the year of crushing disappointment or overwhelming creativity. It all how bad you want to enjoy the world we all knew before the COVID-19 pandemic. The disappointment for many of us has come in the form of ALL of our favorite things being postponed or canceled. I always go to at least one New York Yankees game, an NFL game, the Scottish Games, and basically live at the movie theater but not in 2020. MLB Playoffs Will Be Played In A Bubble

The MLB season is like nothing we've ever seen before. A 60 game sprint to the postseason and an attempt to avoid COVID-19 as much as possible while still playing the majority of games in teams home ballparks. Even though it appears the worst of players testing positive for the coronavirus is behind us with about two weeks left in the season the MLB and the MLBPA have reportedly agreed to move all playoff teams into a bubble scenario in an attempt to ensure a smooth postseason.
