In a day where it has become common-place for athletes to crossover between the Sports and Entertainment worlds, one of the true original crossover talents has left us. Alex Karras, a former NFL player who eventually gained popularity as an actor, has passed away at the age of 77.

It's time-no it's well past time for NFL owners to fire the failed and disgraced Roger Goodell, a man whose ego has made him the joke of pro sports in my opinion. The dictator that he thinks he is, but only in his mind, has completely botched the Saints "bounty gate" case by acting like he is Fidel Castro now Goodell is trying to salvage something of his debacle...

Dominic Raiola, long time offensive lineman of the Detroit Lions didn't make any friends within his own fraternity but fans should embrace his words. The 11 year OL flat out declared that he knows his job is dangerous, that health issues may strike him when he gets older, that he wouldn't join this absurd lawsuit that over 1,000 former players have lent their name too, and that he has the greatest

So much for Drew Brees setting the new 1 season passing yardage record and other accomplishments for the New Orleans QB. AP voted packers QB Aaron Rodgers the runaway winner of the MVP Saturday night. Rodgers recieved 48 of the 50 votes, the other 2 going to Brees...

Well by seed no upsets, not 1 lower seed defeated a higher seed but there was 1 stunner. Although they had home field, a struggling QB, the Denver Broncos stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers in OT in Denver 29-23. While the broncos were seeded higher they were huge underdogs and cast off by many including myself...

Not a good day for the road teams. Young and inexperienced Cincinnati went to the Tee box 1st. I sensed a little panic on the part of head coach Marvin Lewis who for some reason burnt his 2 challenges early on plays that didn't warrent a challenge...

There isn't a better series of plays to sum up the Buffalo Bills season, so far, than what took place at Qualcomm Stadium, early in the second half, on Sunday. The Bills caught a break, as Philip Rivers lost control of the ball and Bryan Scott recovered for a touchdown...

After multiple fines and a meeting with the Commissioner during his bye week, Ndamukong Suh might finally start learning a lesson from his actions. Earlier today, the NFL suspended Suh for the next two games for his recent childish behavior.
