Frozen Four

The 2022 NCAA East Regional is coming to Albany, New York this weekend. Four teams will have a chance to advance to the Frozen Four, and here is our preview.

The 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Regional tournament is this weekend at the Times Union Center. The seeding for the Albany Region are 1) Boston College, 2) St. Cloud State, 3) Boston University and 4) Notre Dame. Not only will the eyes of college Hockey fans all over the country be on the Capital Region this weekend it's also the first event at the Times Union Center with fans in attendance in over a year. Here's all the scheduling and information you'll need to follow along or even attend the road to the Frozen Four Saturday and Sunday.

Just 72 hours ago the Union Dutchmen captured the school’s first national championship in a 7-4 victory against Minnesota. The team hasn't even had a chance to enjoy there victory parade yet, and already a lot has happened for Union's Senior Mat Bodie, and NCAA MVP Shayne Gostisbeher...

Union College beat Minnesota, 7-4, in the Frozen Four Championship game on Saturday night.

After an exciting, 5-4 win over Boston College on Thursday, the Union Dutchmen are set to play for their first national championship in school history. On Saturday, the small, non-scholarship school who's only recently stepped into national prominence will take on one of college hockey's perennial powers, the Minnesota Gophers.

Boston College has thawed, but Union is still frozen.

ESPN Hockey analyst Barry Melrose joined Armen and Levack on Wednesday afternoon to preview Union vs. Boston College in the Frozen Four Thursday at 5pm.

ECAC Commissioner Steve Hagwell joins Armen and Levack on Tuesday to talk all things Frozen Four, including preparation for the event. A former NCAA employee, Hagwell also addressed the topic of unionization in collegiate athletics.

ESPN Sportscenter anchor and Frozen Four broadcaster John Buccigross will be talking Union and all things college hockey with Armen and Levack at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.

Earlier today Union Men's Hockey coach Rick Bennett came on with Armen and Levack to talk about the Frozen Four college championship and preparing for Boston College next week.

Union College advanced to the Frozen Four for the second time in three seasons on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Providence College. The East Regional champions will play Boston College on April 10 in Philadelphia. Boston College has won five national championships...
