Saturday Night Live had a lot of comedic ammunition to go after several big stories from last week. Ted Cruz's Mexico vacation, the Britney Spears documentary, snow in Texas, and of course our very own Governor Cuomo.
The Buffalo Bills will have the ability to host 6,772 fans this Saturday when they begin their playoff run against the Indianapolis Colts. This would be the first sporting event in New York to allow fans since the COVID-19 pandemic halted the sports world in mid-March of 2020. It's a happy day for the Bills Mafia except for the nearly 18,000 fans that have signed a petition in an attempt to keep the man that made the decision to open the stands up, Governor Andrew Cuomo out of the game.
It seems that day by day we get a little bit closer to "normal" here in New York state. Mind you we still have a very long way to go but the news today that Governor Andrew Cuomo has decided to allow the US Open Tennis Tournament for late August and early September is a big step in the right direction.
