Baseball is  my favorite sport. I just love it.So much I could watch the KC  Royals take on the Oakland A's in September when both are long eliminated. However baseball outside of hot stove talk is also the 1 sport where  i detest almost everything off the field about the game...

With just over a month to go in the season, it looks like it's a 4-horse race for the American League MVP. Yankees centerfielder Curtis Granderson, Boston's Adrian Gonzalez and Jacoby Ellsbury and Jose Bautista of Toronto are the front-runners. So who wins?

Tonight, it's Game #2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls as LeBron takes on Derrick Rose. These are two great NBA players but if you had to pick between LeBron James and Derrick Rose right now, who would you take?

Sheryl Swoopes won an NCAA title, three gold medals, three MVP awards and four WNBA Championships.  Monday she announced that she will be returning to the league she left in 2008.

After dishing out the game-winning assist in a win over the Miami Heat, I now think Chicago point guard Derrick Rose is the NBA MVP right now.  His 26 point effort against LeBron and the Heat cemented it for me.

I know the Super Bowl is less than 24 hours old but I firmly believe we might have witnessed true greatness last night.

It's amazing to think that a year ago, no one wanted to wear a Michael Vick jersey - but now he could win the NFL MVP Award.

Call me crazy - but I'm saying it.  Jamaal Charles is the best running back in the NFL right now.
