The Knicks and Nets were finally going to be good at the same time.  What should always have been a more vitriolic, bitter rivalry was finally going to take that next step.  It was going to be a year of New York basketball's reemergence.

Deron Williams threw down a nasty dunk (in a good way) on Monday night.  Unfortunately, it was a nasty outcome (in a bad way) for the New Jersey Nets.

We know that there are New Jersey Net fans out there, somewhere.  Most of the time it's okay to hide, but sometimes your team does some pretty cool stuff.  Deron Williams scores 57 points, Kris Humphries makes a mockery of marriage, and Gerald Green does one of the coolest alley-oop's we have seen.  Too bad the Nets couldn't pull out the win.

Believe it or not, there is footage that exists which proves that the New Jersey Nets actually won a basketball game with a last-second shot.

Really Knick fans? Seriously? The Knicks have gotten so good they don't need Carmelo Anthony? He is going to be the whipping boy? Listening to some Knick fans you would think Melo was the reason they lost Monday Night to the inept NJ Nets...

You know you've found a diamond in the rough when even your head coach says this is like a miracle. Heck, I expect to see Knicks coach Mike D'antoni kiss Jeremy Lin and thank him for perhaps saving his job. Such is the state of the NY Knicks, a team that was dead and done a week ago, is now more then revived by the incredible story of Jeremy Lin...

Who you ask? Fair question. Ungeralded and little used Jeremy Lin a castoff by 2 teams so far this season and mostly a bystander as the Knicks have struggled was the star as the Knicks overcame a 10 point deficit and a 3rd game in 3 nights to beat the NJ nets at the Garden Saturday night 99-92...

I don't see how it's possible to not be amused by this video.  Random, dancing, courtside guy always makes me laugh.  Especially this one.
