Oh this is getting good now, if you are a Yankee fan that is. So it seems that David Ortiz, himself a roid cheater, is supporting fellow cheater Alex Rodriguez, even if it means throwing his own team under the bus. Boston Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster has been suspended five games for intentionally hitting Alex Rodriguez with a pitch in the second inning of Sunday's game between the Red Sox and Yankees. That's just over one game per pitch Dempster was allowed to throw at Rodriguez!

Hated rivals. Heated rivalry. Post season implications. So much on the line. Yet in 1 game, baseballs best rivals showed why they will not be playing in the World Series and let's hope that home plate umpire Brian O'Nora won't be behind the dish in the playoffs...

In baseball there are a few ways to get a point across. Having your pitcher throw one near, or at, a batter is one of those ways, but if it's deliberate, should there be punishment?

And again the baseball world was centered around Alex Rodriguez.  And again it was Yankees-Red Sox.  And again it was at Fenway Park.

There is no doubt the New York Yankees' offense is horrendous.  Against good pitching and good teams?  Why play the games?
