Sam Perkins will join the Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Perkins played his college ball at the University of North Carolina after a high school career at Latham's Shaker High. Sam Perkins is already in the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame since 2008 and now he adds Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame to his honors.
Sam Perkins spent nearly 20 years in the NBA playing for the Mavericks, Lakers, Sonics, and Pacers. He's also a Shaker High School graduate and Capital Region product.
