Shaker High Grad Inducted Into College Basketball Hall Of Fame

Sam Perkins will join the Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Perkins played his college ball at the University of North Carolina after a high school career at Latham's  Shaker High. Sam Perkins is already in the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame since 2008 and now he adds Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame to his honors.

Joining Sam Perkins in the 2018 Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame is:

Houston's Otis Birdsong, Arizona's Sean Elliot, Arkansas Sydney Moncrief, Morgan States' Marvin Webster, USC's Paul Westfall, Coach John Kreese and Coach Danny Miles.

Fun class for the "Big Smooth" to be inducted with. I miss watching Perkins when he was dialed in. Many people take shots at Perkins for his pro day calling him "Sleepy Sam." Regardless of what you used to call him, his title is easy now.... Hall of Famer. Congratulations to Sam Perkins and the rest of the 2018 Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.
