In less than two weeks, we can head to The Joe and enjoy a Tri-City Valley Cats game. Now with restrictions lifting and changing from week to week, there will be special sections at the games.
Earlier this month, The New York Times laid out the plan for the changes coming to Minor League Baseball. Under the new plan, teams in the Tri City Valley Cats league, the New York Penn League, would be contracted. This new scenario would lay out a potential new league and new affiliation for the Valley Cats in the future. The Valley Cats organization did have a statement to the Times Union earlier this month.
The Tri City Valley Cats vs the Lowell Spinners might be rained out but you can still see MLB history at the Joe tonight. The 2017 Houston Astros World Series trophy will still be on display tonight.
The Valley Cats are preparing for another great season and the promotional schedule will entice even the most borderline fan to come out to the ole ballgame.

On Friday's show we were live from outside Joe Bruno Stadium for the opening game of their 2016 season. It was a perfect day with a hot sun and nice breeze and we got to meet the new skipper of the Tri City Valley Cats, Lamarr Rodgers.
