Tanaka Leads Yankees In Tampa

When you need to win a big game, nobody better for the Yankees to have on the mound than Masahiro Tanaka. Tanaka, for the first time this season, had his splitter working on Sunday in a 7-1 win over first place Tampa at a sold-out Tropicana Field. Tanaka who has a proven track record in the postseason delivered his best outing of the season and the Yankees are only a half game behind first-place Tampa in the America League East.
