Add Joba Chamberlain to the loooong list of injured and disabled Yankees.

The Yanks announce on their day off before a series with the Oakland A's starting Friday at the stadium, that Chamberlain is out with an oblique strain.

Chamberlain was placed on the 15 day DL which was made retroactive to April 28th, meaning he can return on May 13th.

Speculation is that Joba may have hurt himself while warming up in the bullpen Tuesday night while the Yanks were playing the Houston Astros.

Look for the Yanks to add a lefty to the pen to replace Chamberlain with Cody Eppley.

Chamberlain adds his name to the long disabled list that includes Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Mark Teixieira, Curtis Granderson, Kevin Youkilis, Ivan Nova, Francisco Cirvelli, and Michael Pineda.
