Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is constantly criticized for his lackluster play.  It's important to point out that the criticism oftentimes does not go beyond the playing field.

Tim Tebow had a rough afternoon against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.  The Broncos lost the game 45-10.  Tebow is often hammered for his inconsistent play.  Many of Tebow's supporters interpret this criticism as a full-blown onslaught.  The supporters believe that the naysayers have it out for Tebow and are rooting for him to fail.

This simply isn't the case many times.  I personally think Tebow has holes in his game the size of Touchdown Jesus.  My opinion has nothing to do with Tebow the person.  I think Tebow is a very good person and I'm actually rooting for him to succeed.  However, I don't see it happening.  My evaluation isn't based on anything outside of Tebow the football player though.  I hope many of Tebow's supporters, who believe he is unfairly targeted, can understand this.
