Despite having no Tri-City ValleyCats baseball this past summer in the Capital Region, baseball fans can still be a part of this event at Joe Bruno Stadium. The ValleyCats will host the first ever Fall Festival on Friday October 16th and Saturday October 17th. The event will include drive in movies (an airing of Halloween classic Hocus Pocus) plus Halloween activities for kids and more. ValleyCats Matt Callahan released this statement in a press release to local media members earlier this week

Our first-ever, Fall Festival is a unique opportunity to provide a safe and fun experience for families from across the Capital Region. We’re excited to celebrate Halloween at The Joe with these great movies and special Trick or Treating activity

The future of the 2021 Tri-City ValleyCats season is still unclear, As we covered last week here on 104.5 The Team, Major League Baseball's contract with Minor League Baseball has expired. The ValleyCats seem likely to change both the level of league they play in and their affiliation with their major league baseball
