The Tri City ValleyCats are playing some really goods baseball right now at the perfect time in the heat of the summer.  If you have not been to a game yet at Joe Bruno Stadium than you have to soon because Rick Murphy and Matt Callahan do an awesome job and it is a fun atmosphere to watch some quality minor league baseball.  The 4th of July fireworks are always a hit and I love my Rodg on the Roads there with WNYT NewsChannel 13.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in the Times Union:

The Tri-City ValleyCats have their best chance of winning a Frontier League Championship under manager Peter Incaviglia. The Cats are very much in the thick of it despite losing several good players to the next level and that's a credit to the front office for putting together a quality roster that has depth. Cito Culver has been fun to watch,  especially with his defense at shortstop.

MJ and I had on ValleyCats manager Pete Incaviglia with us as we do every Wednesday morning right here on Big Board Sports.  Pete discussed the team's recent hot stretch and how great the crowds have been.  Below is our full interview with him.

The Cats are really climbing the Frontier League standings and they are putting themselves in great position to compete for a championship.  Manager Pete Incaviglia is a great baseball mind and he does it the right way every time.  I am confident that the ValleyCats will keep playing good baseball and be a serious title contender this season.
