UAlbany Baseball Is Headed To The Post Season

The UAlbany Great Danes are on a roll right now! The Lacrosse team is headed to the NCAA Tournament Final Four and now the Baseball team has punched their ticket to the America East Tournament. Coach Jon "Bam Bam" Mueller and his team were able to split a double header with three seed UMBC to clinch the 6th and final spot in the America East Tournament.

UAlbany finished the season with a 19 - 26 record going 9 - 14 in the America East. The Great Danes will face a very familiar foe in their first game of the Tournament. It'll be the same team they needed to beat to get into the Tourney, UMBC.

The Great Danes will play three-seed UMBC at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Mahaney Diamond in Orono, Maine.
