This past Wednesday on Levack and Goz, the guys were joined by UAlbany baseball head coach Jon "Bam Bam" Mueller. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the Great Danes baseball season had their 2020 season cut short. How has this team prepared for the upcoming 2021 season? When can we expect the Great Dane to play in regular season games on the diamond again? The UAlbany baseball schedule has yet to be released but Coach Mueller tells us below that the team plans on traveling to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Wildcats to open their season.

The Stillwater native also discussed the changing landscape of baseball in the Capital Region. Just hours before the interview, the Tri-City Valleycats posted the confirmation that their franchise had not been selected as one of the one hundred twenty major league baseball minor league affiliates. What are some of the benefits of the Tri-City ValleyCats becoming an independent baseball league? Plus what type of benefit is it for all Capital Region baseball fans to continue to have more of the sport in the area.

We cover all of those topics but Coach's love for the Washington Football Team. Listen below as Coach expresses his passion for his favorite NFL team and why he believes they can still win the NFC East.
