UAlbany Makes #1 Play on SportsCenter

This past weekend the UAlbany Great Danes baseball team split a four game series with the Marist Red Foxes. The victories inched the team closer to the .500 win percentage mark but the story came from a defensive gem from pitcher J.T. Genovese. Genovese's play below became the number one play on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays this morning.

"Definitely luck. I saw it off the bat pretty well, but my whole body weight was going towards first. the only hope I had was to stick my glove up behind my head and somehow fell in. As I was making my throw to first, half way through the throw I was kind of hit me what happned and I almost threw it away. Thank God I didn't"
