The home field has been good to UAlbany so far this season and that continued this weekend with a 39-31 win over William & Mary. Coming into Saturday's annual Pink Game, the Great Danes had won both games at Casey Stadium in 2019 by a combined 81-10 score. Those were games against non-conference opponents and with the Tribe in town, a new season started in a way.

At 2-2 through four games, UAlbany's conference opener marked an opportunity to match last year's win total at three. The record aside, this has looked like a very different Great Danes team; a mixture of explosive offensive plays with sustained success and a defense that is opportunistic with turnovers. That combination showed on the field Saturday against visiting William & Mary.

Jeff Undercuffler threw three more touchdowns giving him eleven over the last three games and the defense had two interceptions, the last of which sealed the win. Karl Mofor went over the century mark again after running for a career-high 135 yards a week ago.

With back to back wins pushing UAlbany over the .500 mark on the season, the Danes face a couple of tough road tests; at Richmond and Towson the next two weeks.
