It was a banner season for Scotia-Glenville native Joe Cremo, who helped lead UAlbany to the No. 2 seed in the America East men's basketball tournament this past season. Cremo averaged more than 10 points a game in 20+ minutes of play this year and was named the conference's Sixth Man of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

And now, Cremo is getting noticed nationally as he was identified as one of 11 "Under the Radar" breakout star possibilities by the NCAAs official website. You can view the list in its entirety here.

Here is the excerpt on just Cremo:

Cremo averaged 10.7 points in 20.5 minutes per game for the Great Danes, who posted their third 20-win campaign (24-9) in the last four seasons under coach Will Brown. He was the America East’s Rookie of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year. Don’t expect Cremo, who hit 86 percent of free throws and 39 percent of 3-pointers, to endure a sophomore slump either. He attempts 1,000 practice shots per day - and expects to make 700.

One-thousand shots per day? That's the stuff of legends, but that's what Cremo's work ethic entails.
