The Union Dutchmen lacrosse team continues their postseason stretch this weekend. The Dutchmen defeated the Cortland State Red Dragons in the second round on Wednesday 12-7 in Schenectady.

Face-off between Union and RIT is set for 7pm in Rochester Saturday May 11th. As of the start of this week, both schools are ranked in the top six in the country. Union sits at number six with a 13-3 overall record in 2019. RIT is ranked as the number two team in the country with a 18-1. The current number one team overall in the country is Tufts at 17-1 on the season. The third round match up marks just sixteen teams remaining in competition for the national championship. If Union is able to upset RIT this Saturday, they would play winner of Williams vs St. John Fisher in the regional final on May 15th.
