For the first time ever, the Union College men's lacrosse team is going dancing!

The Dutchmen will play Nazareth College in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

Union will take on the Golden Flyers on Wednesday, May 11th in Rochester.

Union (12-4, 4-2 Liberty League) earned an 8-7 win over Rensselaer in double overtime of the Liberty League Championship at Frank Bailey Field after junior midfielder Nick Alfonzetti scored with 36 seconds left in the second extra frame.  It was Dutchmen's first Liberty League title in school history.

Nazareth College (11-6, 6-2 Empire 8), located in Rochester, NY, earned an at-large bid into the tournament after falling to RIT, 24-10, in the Empire 8 Tournament Championship.

Union is 0-2 in the all-time series against Nazareth.

The selection marks Union's first appearance in the 31-year history of the Division III NCAA Tournament.
