After the Yankees signed third baseman Chase Headley to a 4 year/$52 million deal on Monday, the big question now is: What does this mean for Alex Rodriguez?

Headley is now signed on long-term to play the hot corner for New York, which is the position that Rodriguez formerly occupied before injuries and suspension.

A-Rod, who will turn 40 next season, could presumably see time at first base in a backup role with Mark Teixeira. He could also act as the team's DH. But this move shows that the Yanks aren't counting for the former superstar for anything in 2015.
