Unfortunately for Siena Saints fans, the program will not play for a chance to go to the NCAA tournament tonight. After defeating Rider on Saturday night, the Saints lost to top seeded Iona 73-57. Tonight's match up feature Iona taking on sixth seeded Monmouth. The Hawks defeated second seeded Canisius 73-59.

After starting the season 0-12, Monmouth found their winning ways in the conference schedule. The Hawks are seeking to become the first team since the 2002 Siena Saints to win four games to win a MAAC title. A win tonight would be the first MAAC championship in the program's history.

A win for Iona tonight would mark the first time in conference history a men's program won the conference tournament four years in a row. During the run of seven title game appearances, the Gaels are 18-2 in the MAAC Championship with the only losses coming in 2014 and 2015 in the title game.
