Each Tuesday, Siena Saints men's head basketball coach Carmen Maciariello joins Levack and Goz at 415pm for a weekly update on the program. Last week Coach Carm joined the show and was disappointed that his team was back in quaratine after a Tier 1 positive COVID-19 test. Siena athletic director John D'Argenio spoke with Mark Singelais of the Times Union about the recent decision to cancel this weekend's matchup against Canisius. D'Argenio said the following to the Times Union

That ws the discussion with the medical staff, the doctor, the trainer. The authority of those decisions rests with them. These guys have been in twenty eight days' worth of quarantine in thirty five days, thirty six days, so everybody agreed they wouldn't be ready to get out on a court and compete.

Despite having the move mentioned games cancelled, the Saints announced via social media that they did add two games to this month.

Why did Siena add these opponents to the schedule? What is the time frame on when the Saints will be allowed to practice again? What has Coach Carm been able to do to pass the time in quarantine?

You can find out the answers to those questions by listening to the full interview with Coach Carm with Levack and Goz from earlier today by clicking on the interview tab below.

The Saints are now scheduled to start their season on Tuesday December 22nd against Drexel. Tip off is set for 2pm.
