Will DeGrom Become The New Face Of The Mets?

If Jacob deGrom wants to become the next face of the Mets franchise, the Mets should make that happen. Nobody will ever replace David Wright, but there needs to be a new leader on and off the field. Nobody better than deGrom to take on that role. In order for that to happen the Mets need to sign deGrom to a long term contract and make him one of the highest paid pitchers in the game. It should be a no brainer.
