ESPNdeportes.com has been reporting all day that Adrian Beltre is close to signing a deal with the Texas Rangers, a move which would add to an already stacked line-up in Arlington with guys like Josh Hamilton and Elvis Andrus. Several sources have told the ESPN affiliate that the deal is 5-6 years, ranging around the $90-96 million mark.

The 31-year-old Beltre had a tremendous year with the Boston Red Sox in 2010, batting .321 with 28 home runs, 49 doubles and 102 RBI's. Beltre was named an All-Star for the first time in his career, and also received his 2nd Silver Slugger Award.
