New York Yankees SS Derek Jeter began his final home opener in a very familiar fashion. Jeter was joined by the three other members of the "Core Four"  Andy Pettitte, Jose Posada, and Mariano Rivera to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Yankees 2014 home opener.  The Core Four won 5 World Series together (1996,1998,1999,2000,2009).

“At this point, it just feels like another opening day,” said Jeter, during his pre-game press conference, earlier Monday morning.
