I’m starting to think that watching replays of no-names missing dunks in the NBA Dunk Contest would be more pleasant than nonstop Carmelo Anthony trade rumors.
The latest rumor involves the Nets and, wait for it, the Knicks too! Yay! Here is the latest rumor. The Knicks would make a deal with the Nuggets to send Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler, and Timofey Mozgov to Denver for Carmelo.
If that happens, the Nets are in discussions with the Nuggest to then acquire EITHER Gallinari, Felton, or Chandler plus Mozgov for two first-round draft picks.
Awesome. A hypothetical based on another hypothetical. It’s my lucky day. I’ll be happy when Carmelo ends up in New York as a Knick and all of this trade speculation can be a thing of the past.
