Shen Soccer Captures Section II Title

The Shenendehowa boys' soccer team captured its first Section II title since 2011 by beating Niskayuna, 1-0, on Monday night at Colonie High School.

James Homan netted the game-winner with 29:42 left in the game and sent the Plainsmen to the regional final against either Fayettville-Manlius or Baldwinsville of Section III.

The Plainsmen are now 15-3-1 and ranked No. 4 in the state.
