Albany Connections To MTV's 'The Challenge' [VIDEO]

The Challenge on MTV is legit one of my most embarrassing guilty pleasures. If you've never seen it, 30 or so ridiculously good looking MTV personalities face off in physical, mental, and social challenges for a chance to win a large sum of money. In this show's 36th season called "The Challenge: Double Agents" I noticed a somewhat familiar face. Theresa Jones is the sister in law to Albany Empire legend Malachi Jones!

Ever since Malachi broke on to the Arena Football scene in the Capital Region winning AFL Rookie of the Year (2018), AFL Wide Reciever of the Year (2018 & 2019), AFL Offensive Player of the Year (2019), and the 2019 Arena Bowl, I like many have kept an eye on his career. The Jones family is full of great athletes including Malachi's brother T.J. Jones who was a Wide Receiver for the Detriot Lions and New York Giants in the NFL.

Double Agents marks the 7th time Theresa will compete in the Challenge but the first time as Theresa Jones instead of her maiden name Theresa Gonzalez. The Challenge: Double Agents season begins Wednesday, December 9th at 8 pm.
