We could finally be in for a good amount of snow here in the Capital Region

They are in the early tracking stages right now, but the Weather Channel is saying we could see up to a foot of snow Saturday night into Sunday morning! That snowfall total could vary a bit if the storm tracks closer to the coast, but it looks like we are finally getting a decent amount of powder. Now normally this would not be a big deal, but except for the higher elevation areas around the Capital Region we have not had much snow this winter.

It has been kind of nice not having to constantly shovel, but I think here in Upstate New York we do appreciate a storm or 2 here and there. It is part of the beauty of the season! Now with a foot of snow expected this weekend, I will probably not be using the word beauty while I shovel Sunday morning, but it will be a nice change of pace from all the rain we have had this weekend.

So make sure you get some gas for the snowblower and rock salt - we've got big snow coming this weekend!
