The Albany Empire lost a heart breaker last week to the Baltimore Brigade. Among a list of about twelve plays that didn't go the Empire's way, Malachi Jones was called for excessive celebration. Head Coach Rob Keefe explains the penalty and who he blames for it.

The pain was clear on the faces of Wide Receiver Malachi Jones and Kicker Adrian Trevino after the Empire lost 42-41. The penalty on Jones backed up the extra point attempt that Trevino ultimately missed. Anyone that watched the entire game knows there's far more to the outcome than that sequence but who does Coach Keefe hold accountable for the penalty and miss? Himself! Never one to skirt blame or responsibility, Keefe said it was his job to make the rules clear. This is one of the reasons players love to play for Keefe. Listen to coach's full explanation below.
