Look, I feel like I've been saying this for a while, but Albany High School football is going to be good.

The Falcons hadn't won a Class AA game since 2007 coming into this year - and they started out this season 0-6. But the Falcons beat Colonie to break that streak, and then beat two Class A opponents in Mohon and Averill Park to close the season on a three-game winning streak.

Today, I was joined by Falcons junior standout Jarrell Chaney, who talked about the turnaround.

I asked him about the work of the new coaching staff, led by Joey DiPiazza, and I asked him about what it was like to open up the new turf field this year, as well as the community pride that accompanied it.

Furthermore, I asked Chaney about his own personal success. According to the Times Union, he ranks near the top of Section II in both receptions and total yards.
