Thanks to a wild finish, Charl Schwartzel is the 2011 Masters Champion.

Who is Charl Schwartzel?  I have no idea either.

The South African won his first Green Jacket by two strokes over Adam Scott and Jason Day at Augusta National on Sunday.  The 26-year-old closed the final day with a 6-under 66. He finished 14-under 274.

Not bad for a guy that's a regular on the European and South African's Sunshine Tour.

Schwartzel has played in 17 golf majors in his 9-year professional career and missed the cut 7 times.  His previous best finish in a Major was 14th at the British Open last year.

Is it just me or doesn't his name sound like the dorky band guy that sat next to you in history class in 11th grade?  Schwartzel's previous win?  The Joburg Open in South Africa back in January.  His win before that?  The Joburg Open in January of 2010.

Scott shot a 67 and Day finished with two straight birdies for a 68, leaving both Aussies at 12-under.  Tiger Woods finished with a 5 under 67 Sunday to tie Geoff Ogilvy and Luke Donald four strokes back at 10-under.

As I told you on Thursday, there is absolutely no way you can predict the winner of a PGA Tour event.  Did any of you have Schwartzel winning the Masters this year?  I didn't think so!
