Are The Albany Firebirds The Best Arena Football Team So Far?

While there is still plenty of season left, I believe that the Albany Firebirds are the best team in their arena football conference. They are undefeated and have blown out most of their opponents so far. Head coach Damon Ware has done a tremendous job so far on both sides on the ball controlling the game and the line of scrimmage. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

The Albany Firebirds are undefeated after 4 games and look like a team built to win the Arena Bowl Championship. I knew they were loaded on offense even without WR Darius Prince who they don't miss one bit. But it's their defense that's much improved and coming up with one turnover after another this season. And know it's time turn the Firebirds fan base loose with a string of Saturday night home games and Saturday night block parties coming up the rest of the season. I want to see crowds of 6 thousand plus at MVP Arena which is more than doable to watch a team on track to win the Championship.
