New York Mets fans have to relax about Juan Soto.  He will be fine.  Yes he is struggling right now but we are barely thru 20 games this season so far and Met fans are already complaining about his lack of production.  He is a generational talent and has had a tendency in the past to get off too slow starts.  If you check twitter you would think the sky was falling.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Juan Soto will end up being the Super Star hitter that he is before the season is out. When you sign a contract for $765 million fans expect Soto to hit a home run every time, you're at the plate and that's not how it works. The season is a little over a month old and Soto will eventually live up to the expectations but in the meantime, fans need take a deep breath. And without Soto off to a great start the Mets are still winning games and Pete Alonso is off to a fantastic start. It's a long season, and Soto will prove why he's the best hitter in the game and why he will lead to Mets to multiple World Series Championships.

The Mets are off to a really good start and have had very good starting pitching and Pete Alonso has been one of the best hitters in baseball.  The Met fans just have to stay patient and trust the process and they will be just fine.
