
Baylor Beats Notre Dame 80-61, Wins National Title
One day after we crowned the men's NCAA champion, we now have one on the women's side. The Baylor Lady Bears beat Notre Dame, and complete a 40-0 season.
Brittney Griner came through for her team last night as Baylor completed a 40-0 season, and captured the NCAA women's title against Skylar Diggins and Notre Dame. The Lady Bears dominated the Irish 80-61.
Griner led Baylor with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. 19 points for Odyssey Sims. Baylor outscored the high scoring Irish 46-33 in the second half. Skylar Diggins had 20 points in the loss for Notre Dame.
