Well, remember how people say, "You never know what may happen each time you go to the ballpark?"

Well, that couldn't have been more true last night in the 7th inning of Game 5 of the American League Division Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers.

In the 7th inning, tied at 2-2, with the go-ahead run at third, Aaron Sanchez of the Blue Jays was pitching to Shin Soo Choo.

WATCH the play, and then we will break it down.

There was an 18-minute delay as the umpires tried to figure out what was happening. Odor was eventually awarded home and the go-ahead run.

It was determined that since Choo was in the box and did not intentionally interfere with Russell Martin's throw, that the ball was still live.

Martin was given an error on the throw and the Rangers had a 3-2 lead, but the Jays eventually won 6-3.
